How does someone like Megan Thee Stallion celebrate Pride month? With rainbow hair, obviously. The "Savage" rapper and certified hair chameleon appeared at a Black Lives Matter protest supporting Black trans rights in Los Angeles on 14 June. After spending some time letting her natural hair thrive while social distancing, she honoured the occasion by wearing a multicoloured wig with waves that cascaded down her back.
The look was created by hairstylist Kellon Deryck, who's previously worked with other talent like Missy Elliot, rap duo the City Girls, and Nicki Minaj. "@theestallion let me have fun with the colour today," he captioned a photo of Megan. "This was my first time doing this combination."
According to his Instagram post, Deryck created the rainbow look by combining six colours from Guy Tang's #MyIdentity hair colour collection — Purple Raven, Mint of Steel, Cosmic Coral, Phoenix Fire, Sheer Power, and Lightning Bolt — on a platinum blond wig from Kendra's Boutique.
