Punk rock and bowl cut [3] feel unnatural to include in the same sentence, but here we are. As their family members wild new 'dos [4], Miley Cyrus [5] has enlisted the help of her mom Tish to achieve this punk rock pixie cut [6] inspired by rock goddess Debbie Harry, and the bowl cut actually sort of works. Miley's hairstylist, Sally Hershberger, shared a photo of her new 'cut on Instagram on Tuesday, revealing that she coached Tish via FaceTime through the haircut. "I love working with Tish — she has a really good eye for detail," Hershberger said in a press release. "I was glad she was there to help Miley with this cut."
Miley, who is currently staying with her mom at her home in the Hamptons, is no stranger to the mullet [7]. The look pretty much runs in her family, after all (looking at you, Billy Ray). "Miley sent me over a picture for inspiration, but this pixie mullet is completely different than the original inspiration photo," Hershberger added. "That's why I love working with Miley — she's a creative, we work really well together to bring visions to life."
