Miley Cyrus Debuts New Rose Tattoo

Miley Cyrus Debuts Yet Another New Tattoo, and This Time It's a Rose With Thorns

Miley Cyrus "can't stop" getting new tattoos, because it's her body and she can do what she wants. The 26-year-old singer debuted a new rose tattoo on Instagram on Tuesday, just days after she and Cody Simpson got tattoos together. Cyrus shared a black-and-white video of the rose on the back of her left arm, thorns and leaves included, with the caption, "When asked if what you say and do is done with purest intentions and only LOVE inside the heart?" She then shared another video with the caption, "Every. Rose. Has. Its. Thorn."

She got the ink from LA-based tattoo artist Nico Bassill, who also gave Cyrus the "rock 'n' roll heart" tattoo she got during her visit with Simpson. Bassill shared additional snaps of his new rose creation on his own Instagram Story, giving viewers a closer look. Cyrus also recently got "92" tattooed on her neck to mark her birth year.

Cyrus is embracing a new season of her life that involves "necessary goodbyes" and telling the public to "get used to" her dating. She's also releasing a new album called She Is Miley Cyrus, and she's continuing her self-expression journey by growing her vast tattoo collection. Cue "We Can't Stop" — a timeless bop, really — as you take a look at Cyrus's rose tattoo ahead.
