"[The] most popular hair colours [have been] blond or rooted blond," Anthony Holguin [5], hairstylist at LA-based hair salon Nine Zero One [6], told POPSUGAR. "One thing I think everyone wants to feel right now is brighter in this dark time, so a lot of people want to be blonder [7]."

"The most popular thing clients have been wanting to do is a "big chop," said Holguin, "meaning cutting more than usual or going for a short haircut. Everyone's hair just got so long and people want a change."
For those with long hair, this looks like a short or mid-length haircut. For short hair, this looks like a textured lob or shag hairstyle [8].
