Stranger things have happened, but Natalia Dyer did just go ginger [1]. The actor debuted her new light orange hair [2] at Paris Fashion Week on 28 Feb. The "Stranger Things" star first showed off the warm auburn colour [3] at the Saint Laurent show, styling it into tousled waves that fell all the way past her shoulders. Her fringe also looked longer than before, grown-out enough to be swept away from her face and even tucked behind her ear.
This isn't the first time Dyer has played with hair colour, previously attending a Saint Laurent show in September 2022 with a darker shade of red and a shorter fringe. Offscreen, we've also seen her go jet-black, chocolate-brown [4], and even a deep blonde, usually returning to some kind of fail-safe brunette and micro fringe. Her character on the Netflix series, meanwhile, has gone through a hair evolution as well, as Nancy Wheeler has progressed from a long mushroom brown style to shorter, shoulder-length curls. This fresh orange colour, however, just might be our favourite to date.
Dyer's subtle ginger is a softer version of the orange hair trend seen on celebrities like Usher [5], who also dyed his hair for Paris Fashion Week. Other stars who've opted for bolder colours lately include Madelyn Cline [6], who tried out a red-hot bob, Emma D'Arcy [7], who turned their icy-blonde pixie a vivid scarlet, and Julia Fox [8], who achieved cherry-red hair and brows all by herself.
