Olivia Rodrigo [1] and Wednesday Addams have a lot more in common than one might think: a distinct sense of style [2], maturity level beyond their years, and comfortability with some of the more heartbreaking aspects of life. And so, it's not too surprising that Rodrigo gave the macabre character's signature hairstyle a whirl just days before Halloween [3].
For a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the 18-year-old singer paired her neon green button-up with very neatly groomed pigtail braids tied with matching ribbons. The youthful style is one of many Y2K hairstyles [4] Rodrigo, and her hairstylist, Clayton Hawkins [5], have tried: she wore butterfly clips and baby braids [6] to perform at the 2021 MTV VMAs, and also bubble pigtails [7] to celebrate the release of her Sour Prom concert film.
