Phoebe Bridgers is the latest celebrity to look to the '90s for beauty inspiration. The singer recently paid a visit to celebrity tattoo artist Dr. Woo and he revealed the latest addition to her collection: a barbed wire bicep tattoo.
Captioning the photo "Sharp to the touch ⛓⛓ @phoebebridgers gettin classics 🙌" the tattoo features a classic barbed wire design wrapping around the singer's entire upper bicep. Perceptive fans first spotted the tattoo when Bridgers walked the Met Gala red carpet a few weeks ago, but this is the first up-close photo that has been shared.
'90s designs were one of the most popular tattoo trend predictions for this year. "Styles that many of us thought had gone away, such as tribal designs, are being reinvented in new and interesting ways," Lauren Westervelt previously told POPSUGAR. "Even placements we thought had seen their day, aka the lower back, are coming back as clients are changing the narrative behind them."
