I wouldn't necessarily call my skin very sensitive, but like a lot of people, I'm prone to the odd flare-up. If I'm struggling with breakouts, dryness, and irritation all at once but still want to give my skin a little boost using a face mask, I always turn to the Tropic Skincare Deep Hydration Soothing Cooling Mask (£20). The ultracreamy formula contains allantoin and resurrection flower to hydrate the skin, and wild superberries, which the brand claims help brighten your complexion. Like all Tropic products, this mask is 100 percent vegan.
The smell of a mask is also important to me. While I do favour something that's slightly scented, anything overpowering and I'm not keen. This one has a light, sweet (but not too sweet) scent, which for me, is perfect. Oh, and the tub has lasted me months, thanks to the Tropic Spatula (£6), which keeps you from scooping out way too much.
