May is skin cancer awareness month, and retailer QVC is showing its support for the cause by putting its money where its mouth is.

The company is doing its annual "Beauty With Benefits" promotion, which donates 80 percent of proceeds from brands to support the Cancer and Careers charity and its free programs and resources. For anyone unfamiliar, Cancer and Careers was created by the Cosmetic Executive Women Foundation and uses the broad reach of the beauty industry to raise awareness for skin cancer by empowering, educating, and providing key tools for those who continue to work after a diagnosis. You can tune in on May 28 from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET on QVC and 10 p.m. to midnight ET on HSN to catch "An Event With Purpose," where you can learn more about how Cancer and Careers helps survivors thrive in the workplace.

With brands like Beauty by POPSUGAR, Korres, PÜR, and more, the selection covers all beauty needs, meaning you can support the cause while also pampering yourself. Metallic eyeshadow, rich lip serum, and temporary hair colour are just a few of the top-rated selects on the site that are included in the promotion. A tote bag filled with a dozen goodies from brands like Laura Geller, IT Cosmetics, and WEN by Chaz Dean will also be given as a thank you for supporting the cause with every purchase. It's valued at upward of 200 bucks, so be sure to take part in the offer while it lasts through July 31. If you already have all the beauty essentials you need but still want to help, you can donate to Cancer and Careers on the site without having to buy anything.

This year in particular, a portion of the proceeds from the campaign will go directly toward helping cancer survivors tackle any COVID-19-related obstacles they may be facing. The charity is allocating $500,000 in funding to pandemic relief, giving direct relief grants to those in need, as well as creating educational programs that focus on learning more about the coronavirus.

Take beauty into your own hands and let every purchase you make benefit those in need. Shop the top-rated products under $50 ahead, and make the world a more beautiful place one makeup item at a time.
