As the ancient internet proverb goes, "It's ugly until Rihanna decides it's not."
That again proved to be the case when the inimitable pop entrepreneur appeared in her newest campaign with striped red and black hair evocative of MySpace's heyday when scene kids with teased raccoon hair and cling-wrap skinny jeans ruled social media. While influencers look a lot different these days, Rihanna's embrace of the early aughts hair trend makes us wonder if it's time for a revisiting — although perhaps not enough to start peppering "rawr XD" in captions.
Rihanna switched up her look for a special occasion: ahead of Valentine's Day, Savage X Fenty and Fenty Beauty teamed up for the first time on a range that also includes a new Gloss Bomb Heat in "Lavender Savage." See the photos ahead before the collaboration goes on sale 20 Jan.
