Sabrina Carpenter's "Lucky" Tattoo: See the Photos & Meaning

Sabrina Carpenter's Got Her Very First Tattoo, and It's a Reference to Her "Lucky" Life

Sabrina Carpenter just crossed a huge first off her list. The actor-singer just got her first tattoo, which appears to be an expression of gratitude for how far she's come. The ink can be seen in a photo Carpenter shared to Instagram on Dec. 17 that features the word "lucky" written in cursive on the back of her neck. "Baby's first," she captioned it. "Imma lucky girl."

Carpenter made her acting debut on an episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in 2011, but her breakout role was on Disney's 2014 Boy Meets World spin-off, Girl Meets World, where she starred alongside Rowan Blanchard as Maya Hart. Following the show's end, she segued into a pretty successful music career before making her debut on Broadway earlier this year as Cady Heron in Mean Girls. Most recently, Carpenter landed on Forbes's 30 Under 30 list, so it's safe to say that her reference to her lucky life isn't an exaggeration.

First tattoos can be a little nerve-wracking, but it looks like she was in good hands. The tattoo was drawn by celebrity tattoo artist Dr. Woo, who's worked with everyone from Justin and Hailey Bieber to Drake to Kendall Jenner.
