Sam Smith Is Wearing One of Autumn's Biggest Makeup Trends: The Smoky Eye
Sam Smith just proved they've mastered the smoky eye trend in time for Autumn. The singer has been experimenting with makeup for a while now and has been showing off their skills on Instagram. The latest photo features Smith with diffused black eye shadow and liner, creating a smoky eye in a cat-eye shape.
Makeup artist and artistic director of Glamsquad Kelli Bartlett previously told POPSUGAR that this particular makeup look would be one of Autumn's biggest trends. "The new smoky eye is imperfect and customised to create the ideal eye shape," Bartlett explained. She also suggested using a shadow stick to draw along the lash line and at the outer corners in a triangular shape and using a blending brush to give the edges a softer finish.
