I recently put on makeup for the first time since self-isolating, and I have to say, it was a weird experience. I've grown used to a makeup-free life [1], but also, I completely forgot about the products that have been on my "to buy" list since the beginning of March. That's why Ego Nwodim's skit from the April 11 episode of Saturday Night Live [2] hit close to home. Luckily, I haven't resorted to Crayola markers yet, but you know what they say about desperate times.

In the skit, Nwodim sits down for what appears to be an average tutorial, but things quickly take a turn. She says she wanted to keep the look "natural" with "chill, everyday vibes," but I think this might fall under the bold and attention-grabbing styles, for sure.
