Selena Gomez Is Testing Out Rare Beauty at Home, and, Your Honour, That Cat Eye Is Killer
Selena Gomez's new series of selfies speaks to the ancient proverb "Bored in the house and I'm in the house bored." While staying home, the singer decided to test out several Rare Beauty products, offering followers a glimpse into her forthcoming makeup line, which has been kept fairly under wraps thus far.
"I had an urge to put my make up on," Gomez wrote on Instagram. The sultry look — achieved entirely using Rare Beauty — consisted of feathery eyebrows, a peachy nude lip, a hint of blush, and quite the perfect cat eye. Though we're certainly impressed, Gomez's grandfather might not have been. She added, "My papa noticed then proceeded to ask 'why do you look like that?' He whistled as he walked away. So there's that."
Though not much is known about the products or the packageing, Gomez previously confirmed Rare Beauty will offer a range of 48 foundation and concealer shades. She was also seen showing off the line in her recent "Boyfriend" music video, in which she wore red lipstick and a similar winged eyeliner look. Fortunately, we won't have to wait too much longer to get more details, as Rare Beauty will be coming to Sephora this summer.
