Tina Fey is hosting Sunday night's Golden Globe awards ceremony, so naturally the comedian had to prep her skin ahead of the big night with something that would keep her complexion glowing all night long. The comedian's makeup artist Gita Bass shared a few details about what went into Fey's look for the night.

To get her ready, Bass applied Beautycounter's Overnight Resurfacing Peel ($65) to Fey's skin the night before the show in order to help "exfoliate and resurface the skin" before using the vitamin C serum the morning of for an instant brightening effect. She followed up with the Countermatch Adaptive Moisture Lotion ($49) to hydrate the skin before applying makeup and then massaged Fey's face with the Pause Well Ageing Fascia Stimulating Tool ($115) to "sculpt the face and boost collagen production."

For the unfamiliar, the Fascia Stimulating Tool is a stainless steel device that can be used on the face, neck, and chest. It claims to help stimulate blood flow, increase skin elasticity, and support cell turnover. Once the skin prep was out of the way, Bass continued on with Fey's glam, giving her a "downtown [New York] cool vibe" in the form of a smoky eye and a nude lip.
