Gisou's Gorgeous, Honey-Infused Hair-Care Products Just Launched in the UK

We're always incredibly excited when a US brand launches here in the UK [1], especially when it's as beautiful as the hair-care brand Gisou [2] is. But Gisou isn't just pretty packaging. The ingredients and story behind the brand are just as wonderful as the glass bottles and '70s-inspired font. And now that the brand has arrived at Selfridges, we couldn't be more excited that we can finally get our hands on some of the iconic beauty products without a trip across the pond.

The brand was founded by influencer Negin Mirsalehi and inspired by her six-generation beekeeping family, as honey was an important part of growing up. Whilst Mirsalehi's father was beekeeping, her mother was working as a hairdresser, which led her to experiment with honey in homemade hair-care products. In 2013, Mirsalehi paired her mother's years of experimenting with her passion for business and the beauty industry, and the first official Gisou product was born: the Honey Infused Hair Oil.

Though the product line has expanded from the hair oil — to include the Hair Perfume, Hair Mask, Hair Wash, and much more — honey from the Mirsalehi Bee Garden based in the Netherlands remains at the heart of each product, all housed in weighty glass bottles so you can see the beautiful golden formulas inside.
