The Tiny Nail Art Detail You Might Have Missed in Yara Shahidi's Emmys Look Last Night
Yara Shahidi arrived at the 73rd Primetime Emmy Awards looking like a dream in an emerald green Dior dress, but our eyes immediately went to a tiny detail on her fingernails. The Grown-ish star was wearing abstract nail art that was easy to miss if you didn't know to look for it, because the negative space design was barely visible on the red carpet.
Luckily, though, celebrity manicurist Tracy Clemens who often works with Shahidi shared a video that gave us a closer look at the nail art she created. The manicure, which was done on a clear base, looked to feature a variety of circles and dots in silver and black nail polish. The simple yet eye-catching design was done on Shahidi's natural nails and complemented her gold jewellery. It's proof you don't need to go all out with an over-the-top design to get in on the nail art trend.
