Zendaya's superpower is ensuring all eyes are on her at all times. When the "Euphoria" star posed for photos on the red carpet at the TIME100 Gala on June 8, we were immediately drawn to her rare vintage Bob Mackie dress from 1998, but when looking a little closer, we saw that her dress wasn't the only thing borrowed from the '90s. For the event in New York City, she had '90s-inspired supermodel nails with a pale pink shade covering her fingertips. Zendaya opted for the sleek look to complement the stunning teal and green dress.

While the supermodel manicure has been around for a while, it's become a very popular neutral trend for events like weddings and engagements. The term was coined by celebrity nail artist Tom Bachik, who used it to describe Margot Robbie's nails for the 2021 Oscars. The supermodel manicure simply entails a sheer pink base coat with cleaned-up nail beds. With some of the over-the-top nail art we've seen as of late, the resurgence of the clean, sheer look is refreshing.

In addition to Robbie, stars like Jennifer Lopez, Kourtney Kardashian, and Blake Lively have recently been big fans of the trend. Check out Zendaya's fabulous '90s-inspired supermodel manicure ahead.
