Aaron Taylor-Johnson and his wife, Sam Taylor-Johnson, are celebrating 11 years of marriage this year. The couple first met in 2008 on the set of "Nowhere Boy," and three years later, they tied the knot at Babington House in the UK. Aaron and Sam now have two kids together, daughters Wylda and Romy, while Sam shares daughters Angelica and Jessie with ex-husband Jay Jopling.
"I met Sam as actor and director. I think we're really great at collaborating. But that's not why I fell in love with her," Aaron told Esquire in August 2023. "I was going to have a big family. I knew I was going to be a young father. I knew I was going to have many kids."
Referencing his marriage, Aaron added: "I've got really nothing to hide, and I'm secure in what we have. But I'm not going to unlock things that are actually precious to me."
When Aaron took home his first Golden Globe for his performance in "Nocturnal Animals" in 2017, the English actor praised his wife in his speech, calling her his "soulmate." "I want to thank my wife for being there with me and supporting me through this," he said, per Us Weekly. "You're my soulmate and I love you very much. I'm blessed. I have four beautiful daughters."
In June 2022, the couple renewed their vows for their 10th wedding anniversary. "We renewed our vows to one another and confessed our love in front of our nearest and dearest friends and family it was a celebration of love and joy!" Aaron wrote on Instagram alongside a photo from their ceremony. "A decade of marriage. It was a magical unforgettable day and the sun did not stop shining on us both.. we are blessed beyond belief. ❤️ Sammy you are my love, my life, my soulmate, my wife, my world! ❤️."
