Alexander Skarsgard's Beauty and Brains Get Honored With a Special Degree

Alexander Skarsgard donned a cap and gown this afternoon to accept his honorary degree from Leeds University in the English city of Leeds. The True Blood actor proudly held his diploma in the air to show off the accomplishment. Alexander is off in Europe during a break from promoting his hit HBO series. True Blood's season four kicked off last month to amazing ratings. Next up for Alexander will be a different sort of leading man role. Alexander will play a viking in the upcoming The Vanguard, and it will be his first-ever leading role.
