It's Game, Set, and Love Match as Andy Murray Marries Kim Sears
Tennis ace Andy Murray wed long-term girlfriend Kim Sears Saturday, at a ceremony in Andy's hometown of Dunblane, Scotland. The bride wore a bespoke Jenny Packham gown with hand-embroidered Swarovski crystals and was flanked by bridesmaids in long pink dresses also by the designer. The groom, of course, wore a traditional kilt.
The couple have been dating since 2005, and Kim has become a familiar face as she supported Andy in the stands during all his big matches, including his 2012 London Olympic gold medal win and his long-awaited success at the 2013 Wimbledon championship. They got engaged in November 2014. Today's ceremony was attended by a number of familiar faces, including British tennis player Tim Henman and, of course, Andy's mum, tennis coach, and Strictly Come Dancing contestant Judy Murray and his brother and fellow tennis pro, Jamie Murray. Following the cathedral ceremony, guests moved on to a reception at Cromlix House, the £1.8 million country house hotel owned by Andy.
