Anna Faris and Chris Pratt have been married since 2009 and have one of the most idolised marriages in Hollywood, but things haven't always been easy. The two were at the centre of cheating rumours last year after tabloids ran stories claiming that Chris was having an affair with his Passengers costar Jennifer Lawrence, which Anna said at the time were "blindsiding" and "stinging."
This week, Anna opened up again about dealing with the reports during an interview with Isla Fisher on her podcast, Anna Faris Is Unqualified. The actress admitted, "I just remember feeling so hurt in a way that bothered me, because I didn't want to think of myself as somebody who could be affected by tabloid sh*t." She went on to confess that the cheating rumours made her feel "incredibly insecure," adding, "I take pride in how great my relationship is with Chris . . . but having said that, of course, in this crazy world where he's off doing movies and I'm in LA raising our child [4-year-old son Jack], of course I'm going to feel vulnerable, like any normal human would."
In August 2015, Anna addressed the "devastating" rumours: "For us it was like, 'What the heck.' This has been blindsiding to us. We have an incredible relationship. It has been weirdly stinging." She added, "I have always kind of believed that part of the rumours of celebrity couples were sort of true — because they had never been a part of my life. I thought, 'Maybe there is a kernel of truth to that.'"
