This BBC Reporter Tried to Film With Lemurs — and It Was a Journey

09/01/2018 - 03:58 PM

Think getting mobbed by lemurs sounds pretty cute? Wait until you see BBC reporter Alex Dunlop getting attacked during a news report. It's pretty intense, to say the least!

BBC East posted the adorable video with the caption: "You know what they say about working with animals... Lemurs 1-0 BBC Look East reporter". Dunlop was at Banham Zoo, Norfolk, reporting on the zoo's annual stocktake of animals, but found himself in a kind of cute, but definitely intense, situation with a whopping eight lemurs who just wouldn't leave the poor man alone. Ever the professional, Dunlop continued his report for as long as he could, getting as far as "I'm at the..." before announcing a lemur had bitten him with an "Ow, you little nipper!", followed by the (under)statement "this could take some time".

Watch the full video above, and prepare to file this under "best news moment of 2018 so far". This is up there with last year's cute interview crashers [4]!
