A Marching Band Serenaded Meghan Markle With the Suits Theme Song, and It Was Simply Iconic
It's been six months since Rachel Zane bid adieu to Suits so Meghan Markle could fully embrace her new royal role, and yet it seems like some fans are still fondly clinging to her seven-year stint on the USA Network show. Case in point: during a public walkabout in Auckland, New Zealand, Meghan was serenaded with the Suits theme song — by a full-on marching band, no less. Yes, trumpets were involved, and yes, it was iconic.
The Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry were greeting a crowd gathered on the Auckland waterfront as the band members played a rendition of "Greenback Boogie" by Ima Robot using various instruments. Though Meghan didn't appear to acknowledge the performance, likely because she was inundated by the thousands of fans clamoring from behind the barricades, it's still a pretty surreal moment (and this band definitely gets an A for effort in our book!).
