Beyoncé Celebrates Her Birthday in Italy With JAY-Z, Because Summer Isn't Over Until She Says It Is
Beyoncé and JAY-Z took a break from their very eventful On the Run II tour to celebrate the singer's birthday in Italy this week. On Wednesday, the couple was spotted arriving for lunch at Hotel Cala di Volpe while vacationing in Porto Cervo, Sardinia. Beyoncé, who turned 37 on Tuesday, rocked a floaty, printed ensemble and a hat big enough to hide snacks in — the look screams, "Summer is over when I say it is." She and JAY-Z took turns snapping photos of each other as they made their way to the restaurant for an adults-only meal.
We can imagine that Queen Bey's big day involved Champagne, good tunes, and lots of well wishes from friends, family, and fans. One tribute from her mom, Tina Lawson, was especially emotional. On Tuesday, Tina posted a photo of 4-month-old Beyoncé on her Instagram, writing, "I made a vow to love and cherish you everyday. . . for the rest of my life!
