Did This Woman at Least Say "Excuse Me" Before Leaning Over Beyoncé to Speak With JAY-Z?

Beyoncé and JAY-Z were front and centre at game three of the NBA finals in Oakland, CA, on Wednesday. The 37-year-old singer and 49-year-old rapper sat courtside as the hometown Golden State Warriors battled the Toronto Rapters at the Oracle Arena. Naturally, Bey looked fabulous, rocking a neutral ensemble with a longline grommet jacket. Meanwhile, Jay — who recently reached billionaire status — sported an all-black outfit from head to toe.

Bey and Jay's appearance also generated some buzz for another reason. In a video posted by ESPN, the dynamic duo were waving at a camera when the clip captured an *ahem* interesting moment between JAY-Z, Beyoncé, and Nicole Lacob — the wife of Warriors owner Joe Lacob. At one point, Nicole is seen leaning over Bey to chat with Jay, and the Beyhive would like to know exactly what was going on.

Beyoncé didn't look too thrilled about having her personal space invaded — nor did she look too thrilled that it happened so Nicole could speak to her husband of 11 years. It might not be a coincidence that in the photos of Bey and Jay, the singer has her body positioned toward her beau rather than directly forward like how she was sitting at the Houston Rockets game weeks ago. It also doesn't help that Nicole herself posted a photo of her touching Beyoncé's hair (a major no-no), and the singer looks pretty uncomfortable.

Now, I don't want to jump to conclusions based off a 13-second clip. I wouldn't expect Beyoncé to keep a smile the whole time, because they showed up to attend a game, not to constantly look pleasant on camera. Some people are even speculating that Nicole is simply taking Jay's drink order as it appears as though she's mouthing the words, "With lime?" Not to mention, Bey and Nicole are seen laughing together in some pictures, which suggests they were both totally fine.

However, I would like to know if Nicole at least pardoned herself before leaning that close into Beyoncé to speak over her. I'm sure it's loud and rowdy in there (it is the Oracle Arena, after all), but a quick "sorry" or "excuse me" before or after the interaction with Jay would have gone a long way. Maybe I just stan too hard for . . . manners? Maybe Nicole did excuse herself off camera? Who knows.

At any rate, Beyoncé is the capital B, and "she don't need no hype." And the capital B means she's 'bout that life. Translation: Queen Bey can hold her own, and she did.
