As usual, it appears Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds had a better weekend than the rest of us. The couple, who welcomed their second child at the end of September, spent some quality time with chefs Adam and Jackie Sappington on Sunday, and judging from Blake's facial expression, they all had a blast. Ryan posted a photo of the happy group on Instagram, writing, "Spent the weekend getting schooled by @thecountrycat's Adam and Jackie Sappington, the obscenely charming and funny chefs from @foodnetwork. If anybody's looking for them, they're handcuffed to my stove until the next Olympics. I'll raise their two boys as if they were my own--which, frankly, is a terrible thing for all involved." The Sappingtons own a restaurant called The Country Cat and were featured on both The Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives and an episode of Chopped.
Blake made her passion for cooking known when she started her now-defunct lifestyle brand, Preserve, in 2014, and she posted a few excited photos with the couple to her own Instagram account. "I know SUPER famous people. #BestChefsInTheWest @thecountrycat," she wrote. This is the first time the Shallows actress has been photographed since attending her assistant's wedding just a few days after giving birth. Overall, Ryan and Blake have been keeping a pretty low profile since expanding their family, but fingers crossed the adorable couple continue to keep social media alive with their similar senses of humour and more fun photos.
