Bradley Cooper is getting emotional. The 44-year-old A Star Is Born [5] actor and director recently sat down for an interview with Willie Geist [6], where he reflected on the movie's recent success, his directorial debut [7], and what his family thinks of his new career path. While it's no surprise that Bradley's mom, Gloria [8], is in awe over the movie's fame and eight Oscar nominations [9] and four Grammy nominations [10], it was Willie's question about Bradley's father that had him choked up. Bradley's father, Charles Cooper, died in 2011 after a battle with lung cancer. When asked about what Charles would think of Bradley's skyrocketed career and directorial path, the actor was at a loss for words. Watch a clip from Bradley's Today interview above, which airs on Feb. 10.
