Britney Spears made her triumphant return to the MTV Video Music Awards stage on Sunday night, and while the world was happy to see her kill it again, nothing can ever quite compare to her iconic performance with *NSYNC in 1999. But the singer, who recently revealed that she would love to collaborate with ex Justin Timberlake, admits the high-school-themed number hasn't stuck with her as much as it has the rest of us. "I think I was with *NSYNC when I performed for the first time," she revealed to Elvis Duran and the Z Morning Zoo on Monday. "I think the whole setup was a classroom, and my four main dancers were in the front at their desk and I came out of my locker. But, you know what, I don't remember at all. I have no recollection. I couldn't tell you anything about it."
Fortunately we remember it perfectly and wholeheartedly support any future Britney-Justin-*NSYNC collaboration, something Lance Bass is also here for. He echoed her sentiments about a possible mashup while recently speaking to E! News, saying, "I think everyone in the world wants to see [Britney and Justin] together again in any capacity."
