Carrie Underwood Shares a Close-up of Her Scars Following Her "Freak Accident" Last Year
Carrie Underwood is ready to show her scars. On Friday, the 35-year-old country star shared a close-up photo of her face after months of hiding it, writing, "Ready to cheer on the boys tonight! Especially that #12! I hear he's alright! 😘" Carrie suffered a damaging fall last November which caused the "Cry Pretty" singer to undergo surgery and left her with over 40 stitches in her face. "I want you all to understand why I might look a bit different," she explained in a heartfelt note to her fan club members in January. Carrie made her triumphant return to the stage with an emotional performance at the ACM Awards last Sunday. We think the proud mum looks beautiful regardless. Welcome back, Carrie!
