Carrie Underwood is ready to show her scars. On Friday, the 35-year-old country star [3] shared a close-up photo of her face after months of hiding it [4], writing, "Ready to cheer on the boys tonight! Especially that #12! I hear he's alright! 😘" Carrie suffered a damaging fall [5] last November which caused the "Cry Pretty" singer [6] to undergo surgery and left her with over 40 stitches in her face. "I want you all to understand why I might look a bit different," she explained in a heartfelt note to her fan club members in January. Carrie made her triumphant return to the stage with an emotional performance at the ACM Awards [7] last Sunday. We think the proud mum [8] looks beautiful regardless. Welcome back, Carrie!
