Brace yourself, dear reader, because your heart is about to melt into a heaping pile of mush, all thanks to Carrie Underwood's son, Isaiah Fisher [1]. When Carrie sang the national anthem at husband and hockey star Mike Fisher's game on April 28, their 3-year-old son was in the stands to witness it — and his reaction was overwhelmingly adorable.

While the 35-year-old country singer belted out the last few lines of "The Star-Spangled Banner" at the Nashville Predators playoff game in Tennessee, Isaiah couldn't contain his excitement, as he excitedly jumped up and down and cheered on his mom. How sweet!

Carrie later shared video footage of Isaiah's cute-as-can-be reaction with her Instagram followers and explained why she was so happy that her longtime friend Ivey Childers was there to capture the priceless moment. "As a child, I wanted nothing more than to make my parents proud of me...and now, as a mother, I want to make my child proud," she wrote. The singer added that Isaiah is usually already in bed by the time her performances start, but this time was different. "Last night he was there to watch his daddy play...and he also got see his mommy sing for a minute . . . Thanks, @iveychilders for catching this little moment...my heart is happy."

Watch Carrie's flawless rendition of the national anthem above, and then witness Isaiah's preciously pure reaction to his mama's singing chops in the Instagram video below.
