Stars Get Us Ready For Award Season at LA's Biggest Bash
Award season may not have officially started just yet, but on Saturday night dozens of A-listers gathered in LA to attend a glamorous, star-studded event at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Kate Hudson, Salma Hayek, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Drew Barrymore dropped by LACMA's annual gala, which celebrates art and film. Naturally, since the party has to do with art, actor-turned-director-turned-artist James Franco made an appearance, and he mingled with Kate and Catherine Keener inside the bash. Meanwhile, Leonardo stayed close to his Wolf of Wall Street director Martin Scorsese but did break away to chat with Sacha Baron Cohen, Isla Fisher, and Tom Hanks, whom he may be competing against in the best actor category this award season.
On Friday, Leo also dropped by LACMA to stand in for Martin at a screening of Rebel Without a Cause, which was restored by Martin's Film Foundation. Martin was apparently still in NYC, working on The Wolf of Wall Street, which hits theaters this month, but he made it out for the museum's party this weekend.
