These Stars Didn't Let a Little Snow Stop Them From Mingling With Fans at the Empire Awards

When the Rakuten TV Empire Awards were scheduled for mid-March, we doubt anyone expected the stars to have to walk a red carpet in the snow. After all, last year's attendees definitely looked a lot less frostbitten [1]. But when temperatures dropped back into minus figures on the weekend, the likes of Mark Hamill, Martin Freeman, and Anya Taylor-Joy had to brave the cold, and those falling flakes, to attend the ceremony. Luckily, they did so with a smile, stopping to take photographs with the fans who'd waited outside for hours. This resulted in some really fun pictures that are a far cry from the usual red carpet snaps. Extra kudos must go to Joely Richardson, who stopped to sign autographs despite the fact she was in a sleeveless dress. Trust a member of one of the country's most celebrated acting dynasties to show us that, come rain or shine, the show must go on!
