Sadly, we've already had our fair share of celebrity breakups this year. While we're certainly hoping we don't reach last year's levels [1], we've sadly had to come to terms with the fact that some of our favourite couples are no longer together. Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan
Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan announced their separation [5] in April, saying, "We have lovingly chosen to separate as a couple. Absolutely nothing has changed about how much we love one another, but love is a beautiful adventure that is taking us on different paths for now." The two had been married for nearly nine years and first met on the set of Step Up in 2006. They are parents to a 4-year-old daughter named Everly [6].
Alessandra Ambrosio and Jamie Mazur
The couple, who got engaged back in 2008, called it quits [7] after ten years together in March. According to Us Weekly, they tried "to keep their split on the down low," but Alessandra was out and about "ready to mingle." They have two children together, son Noah and daughter Anja.
Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid
In March, Zayn and Gigi announced that they were ending their relationship after two years of dating [8]. Shortly after the news broke, Zayn confirmed their split with a statement on Twitter. "Gigi and I had an incredibly meaningful, loving and fun relationship," he wrote. "I'm grateful to all of our fans for respecting this difficult decision."
Recently, it's been reported that the pair are back together.
Usher and Grace Miguel
The couple announced their separation after two years [9] of marriage in March. "After much thought and consideration, we have mutually decided to separate as a couple," they said in a joint statement to Us Weekly. "We remain deeply connected, loving friends who will continue supporting each other through the next phases of our lives. The enormous amount of love and respect that we have for each other will only increase as we move forward."
Common and Angela Rye
The rapper and political commentator had been dating since September 2017, but parted amicably in early March [10]. "We have and will always be friends. He is an amazing human being, and I'm a much better person because he's a part of my life," Angela told Page Six [11]. "May we all keep loving and living."
Michael Sheen and Sarah Silverman
After nearly four years of dating [12], the comedian announced in February that she and Michael split over Christmas [13] in 2017. "The great @michaelsheen & I consciously uncoupled over Christmas," Sara tweeted. "I mean, not 'over Christmas' - like that wasn't the fight that ended it. No fight. We just live in different countries & it got hard. Felt we should just tell y'all so u stop askin, 'How's Michael/How's Sarah?'" Sarah currently lives in LA, while Michael lives in the UK [14].
Eric Dane and Rebecca Gayheart
In February, Rebecca filed for divorce from Eric [15] after 13 years of marriage. According to documents obtained by TMZ, Rebecca is asking for spousal support and joint legal and physical custody of their daughters, 7-year-old Billie and 6-year-old Georgia.
Claire Foy and Stephen Campbell Moore
In February, the couple revealed that they separated [16]. "We have separated and have been for some time," they said in a joint statement to Metro. "We do however continue as great friends with the utmost respect for one another." The two got married in 2014 and share a 2-year-old daughter named Ivy Rose.
Alicia Silverstone and Christopher Jarecki
The Clueless actress split [17] from her husband after 12 years of marriage in February. "They still deeply love and respect each other and remain very close friends, but have mutually decided to separate after being together for 20 years," Alicia's rep said in a statement to E! News. "They have a son together who they will continue to coparent." Alicia and Christopher wed in 2005, and in 2011, they welcomed their first child, son Bear Blu Jarecki.
Anderson Cooper and Benjamin Maisani
The pair called it quits [18] after dating for nine years earlier this year. "Benjamin and I separated as boyfriends some time ago," Anderson told the Daily Mail in a statement in March. "We are still family to each other, and love each other very much. We remain the best of friends, and will continue to share much of our lives together."
Julie Bowen and Scott Phillips
After 13 years of marriage, Julie Bowen and Scott Phillips [20] decided to separate in February. A specific reason for why the Modern Family star and her real estate investor husband decided to split wasn't given. The pair tied the knot back in 2004, and share three sons: Oliver, 10, and 8-year-old twins John and Gustav.
Lena Dunham and Jack Antonoff
The couple called it quits [21] after five years together in December, but we didn't learn about the split until January. According to E! News, their breakup was "mutual" and "they want the best for each other no matter what." Jack has reportedly already moved on with someone else [22], while Lena is "focusing on herself and her work."
Jesse Williams and Minka Kelly
The couple first sparked dating rumors [23] in January 2017, but it wasn't until six months later that they officially confirmed the reports when they were spotted out on a movie date [24] in LA. Sadly, their relationship came to an end [25] in January amid Jesse's intense custody battle [26] with ex-wife Aryn Drake-Lee.
Nas and Nicki Minaj
The rappers broke up in January [27] after seven months of dating. "Nicki and Nas fizzled out," a source told Us Weekly. "They were never in the same place at the same time, so it was hard to move their relationship forward." According to the insider, there is no bad blood between them, and "they still remain friends."
Olivia Culpo and Danny Amendola
The couple split [28] after two years of dating in March. The former Miss Universe confirmed the breakup during a stop on Access Live that same week. "We're broken up and it's just so fresh for me," Olivia said. "I don't feel comfortable talking about it. Everyone goes through breakups in life. Everybody has their own way of handling it and it's something that I definitely am not going to get into at this moment. But I am sure everyone can relate to heartbreak."
James Tupper and Anne Heche
The pair split after more than a decade [29] together in January. According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly, the actress is seeking joint custody and visitation rights of their 8-year-old son Atlas and is also asking that James pay her legal fees. The reason for their split still remains unclear.
Monica Potter and Daniel Christopher Allison
The Parenthood actress is divorcing her husband [30] after ten years of marriage. According to court documents obtained by E! News in February, Monica cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their breakup.
Tricia Helfer and Jonathan Marshall
The Lucifer actress filed for divorce [31] from her lawyer husband in February after 13 years of marriage. Tricia is requesting that neither she nor Jonathan is paid spousal support.

In February, the Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles star filed for divorce [32] from her husband of 13 years, citing irreconcilable differences. The couple has two daughters together, 8-year-old Scarlett and 11-year-old Juliet.
Brandi Glanville and Donald Friese
In January, the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star announced on Twitter that she split from Donald [33] after almost a year of dating. "Social media is ruining romance! It ruined mine," she wrote. "I'm single!"
Tisha Campbell-Martin and Duane Martin
In February, the Martin actress revealed that she has filed for divorce from her husband [34]. Amber Rose and 21 Savage
Amber Rose and her rapper boyfriend, 21 Savage, ended their relationship [37] after nearly 2 years of dating, People reports. "They are definitely off," a source told the outlet, adding, "They are not together." The couple, who went public with their relationship in July 2017, were last spotted together on Valentine's Day in LA. Amber has a 5-year-old son, Sebastian, from her previous marriage with rapper Wiz Khalifa [38].
Donald Trump Jr. and Vanessa Trump
Vanessa filed for divorce from Donald Jr [42]. after almost 13 years of marriage in March. She's seeking an uncontested proceeding, which usually means the couple has already figured out child custody and property. The pair has five children together — Donald, 9, Chloe, 3, Spencer, 5, Kai, 10, and Tristan, 6.
Logic and Jessica Andrea
The pair called it quits after two years of marriage [43] in March. Logic nor Jessica has commented on the breakup yet, but split rumors began swirling when fans noticed that Jessica stopped following Logic on Instagram.
Chrissy Metz and Josh Stancil
The This Is Us star revealed during a visit to The Wendy Williams Show in March that she has broken up with her cameraman boyfriend [44] after dating since December 2016. "I'm dating myself currently," she said. Ariana Grande and Mac Miller
