It's a game I've played on many long road trips and first dates, with answers changing over the years. In 2019, however, I can confidently say Chrissy Teigen and congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez would easily make my list of invited dream guests. So imagine my surprise when my pretend BFFs started planning a Grammys pizza party for Sunday's show . . . without me? I'm completely fine, but let's dissect exactly how this happened. @AOC hello my hero, do you wanna come over and watch the grammys with us? there will be pizza— christine teigen (@chrissyteigen) February 8, 2019 Shortly after she tweeted a video of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez criticizing campaign finance laws, Chrissy asked the "hero" congresswoman to join her for the Grammys on Sunday. 1 / 6 She can have my portion!— Jesse Tyler Ferguson (@jessetyler) February 8, 2019 Modern Family star Jesse Tyler Ferguson graciously offered up his pizza slices if Alexandria would consider joining the party. 2 / 6 Jesse will he here! help me!! tell her we are normal— christine teigen (@chrissyteigen) February 8, 2019 Chrissy enlisted Jesse's help even further and asked him to reassure Alexandria, the guest of honour, that everyone attending will be "normal." 3 / 6 I can only speak for myself Chrissy. Although, you are usually pretty good at staying chill. pic.twitter.com/PWWfA1NyIM— Jesse Tyler Ferguson (@jessetyler) February 8, 2019 Jesse came through, and not only gave up his pizza portion, but vouched for Chrissy's "chill" party nature too. Personally, I love chill parties. Would love to be invited to one someday. 4 / 6 yes! we can live-tweet me burning something in the kitchen— Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (@AOC) February 8, 2019 She's in! The dream dinner party became a reality when Alexandria suggested they live-tweet the experience. Since they'll be busy cooking, you know who's got two thumbs and loves to tweet? This girl. 5 / 6 perfect! we have extremely different strengths except I still sometimes burn things— christine teigen (@chrissyteigen) February 9, 2019 The party plans appear to be a done deal, but we'll find out for sure on Sunday. If the only qualifications to join are different strengths and the tendency to burn things, then I'd sure like to throw my hat in the ring for the next one! 6 / 6 Alexandria Ocasio-CortezTwitter ReactionsGrammy AwardsChrissy Teigen
