Just when you think this Christmas light display can't get any cooler, it does. Louie Cortez, an IT systems analyst at the University of Kansas, took his festive decorations to the next level by timing his Christmas lights to Taylor Swift's " . . . Ready For It." After the lead-in, the 30-minute light display goes on to feature Christmas songs.
"I always had this itch for Christmas lights when I was little," he told The Wichita Eagle. "I would see videos of houses lit up and going to music, and I thought it would be cool to do it. This is what it became."
His family has put on a holiday light show every year since 2008, and after seeing Taylor's Reputation tour this year, he was inspired to incorporate her song. According to the Cortez Holiday Light Show's Facebook page, the light display will run until January 1st, and viewers can tune in to a radio station to listen to the music from their cars while they watch the show. Insanely cool, right?
