According to some people, Meghan Markle, the gorgeous new Duchess of Sussex [2] could, wait for it, be a robot. Yes, you read that right. But let's clear this one up right now: Meghan Markle is not a robot. We watched every second of the royal wedding [3], and there was no robot shenanigans (not unless they put one on their wedding list [4], but I guess we'll never know).

So, why do people think that the duchess she might be a robot? Well, on June 3, the happy couple was shown in the audience of the Britain's Got Talent finale — or so people thought. As it turns out, the frankly creepy-looking newlyweds were in fact people wearing masks in order to promote the new Live Figures exhibition at London's waxwork museum Madame Tussauds, where visitors will be able to get up close with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wax figures [5].
