David Beckham Rubs Shoulders With the Royals (Again)
The Queen hosted a reception at Buckingham Palace on Monday to celebrate her Young Leaders programme and present awards to the first successful winners of the Commonwealth project, and she invited some famous faces along for the day. David Beckham, who's become a friend of her grandchildren Prince William and Prince Harry over the years, was there to meet the guests, as was TV presenter Fearne Cotton, comedians David Walliams, John Bishop, and Rob Brydon and many others. Former Prime Minister John Major joined Beckham in making a speech, and Prince Andrew and Princess Beatrice were also there to show their support for the initiative.
