Hot on the heels of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's first royal engagement of 2018 [1], the Duchess of Cambridge also stepped out for her first official outing of the year, a day after she celebrated her 36th birthday [2]. Dressed in a chic navy double-breasted coat, Kate, who is currently pregnant with her third child [3], visited the Reach Academy in Feltham, London. She was there on behalf of the children's mental health charity Place2Be, for which she's been a patron for a number of years [4].
Kate waved as she greeted pupils from the school before bending down to chat with some of the youngest children (and a cute dog!). She then headed inside, where she participated in some art activities and listened to news on how the teachers and staff work closely with parents to ensure there's a close link between home and school.
