Dwayne Johnson turned his highly anticipated Hobbs and Shaw [1] premiere into an adorable mother-son date with Ata Johnson [2] in LA on Saturday night. Aside from rolling up to the red carpet in a custom-built truck that was used in the movie, the 47-year-old actor had his mum by his side as he posed for pictures and linked up with his costars, including Jason Statham [3], Idris Elba, Eiza González, and Dwayne's cousin WWE superstar Roman Reign (née Leati Joseph "Joe" Anoaʻi). Dwayne looked as handsome as always in a dark suit, while Ata shined bright in a sparkly blue dress.
During the premiere, Dwayne opened up to Extra about his bromance with Jason [4]. "From Fast 8, Jason and I — and the filmmakers, the studio, and the fans — started to see this, interesting chemistry happen . . . this relationship that I have with Jason is a lot of fun," he joked.
