Angelo Pizarro lost his mum [3], Aileen, and his 12-year-old sister, Aryana, in a tragic car accident in San Diego last week. As Angelo was remembering his mum, he recalled that she was a big fan of The Rock's and tweeted out that he would love to get a video of him saying her name for the funeral.

After several fans retweeted Angelo's post, he soon received a direct message from Dwayne himself.

In the video, Dwayne thanked Angelo for reaching out and expressed his condolences. "I'm sending you so much love and light and strength your way," the actor said. "I'm so sorry to hear about your sister and your mom and this tragic loss . . . stay strong."

Naturally, Angelo was overwhelmed with joy and thanked Dwayne for his heartfelt message.

However, Dwayne wasn't the only star who reached out to Angelo. Alessia Cara also caught wind of Angelo's story and reached out to him on Facebook.

According to CBS News, Aileen and Aryana were killed in a high-speed crash [4] with a wrong-way driver on a Southern California interstate. The driver has since been identified as 18-year-old YouTube star Trevor Heitmann, who was also killed in the accident.

Angelo's family has set up a GoFundMe page [5] to "help aid my family with funeral costs and any additional expenses." Our hearts go out to Angelo and his loved ones.
