Dwayne Johnson, Dream Prom King, Responded to a Fan's Promposal in the Most AMAZING Way
Prom season is upon us and the Prom King of our hearts, Dwayne Johnson, had a special message for one fan who asked him to be her date. Dwayne posted on Instagram on April 20 to surprise a dedicated superfan, Katie Kelzenberg, with a response to her hilarious promposal.
Katie tweeted a video of herself dressed as Dwayne (fanny pack, chain, and all) on April 15 and asked him to her senior prom. She even showed off her merch collection as evidence that she really is the biggest Dwayne Johnson fan. The tweet went viral, and eventually reached the man himself. While Dwayne can't attend prom with Katie, due to his Jungle Cruise filming schedule, he did share a sweet message for Katie and applauded her for going outside of her comfort zone to ask him. Dwayne also offered her a pretty sweet alternative: he rented out an entire theatre in Minnesota, so Katie (and her 232 closest friends and family) could view a private screening of his new movie Rampage. Way to go, Katie! Enjoy prom, the movie, and your newfound friendship with Dwayne, himself!
