Ed Sheeran kept it real when he sat down with Stephen Colbert on The Late Show on Wednesday. The singer explained that when he was younger, he struggled with a stutter that still comes back when he's under pressure. "I was a very odd child," he said, adding that he wore "big, big blue National Health glasses." Ed even shared his theory as to why he became a singer, joking, "The reason I became a musician is God looked down and said, 'You probably need some help getting laid.'" Watch Ed talk about his younger years in the funny clip above, and then check out six times he stole a pop song and made it radder.
