Ellen DeGeneres is mourning the death of her father, Elliott DeGeneres. On Thursday, the TV host announced on both her show and Twitter that her father passed away earlier this week at the age of 92. "He lived a good long life. It wasn't unexpected. I was able to say goodbye," Ellen tweeted. Along with a clip of the heartfelt tribute from her show, Ellen also posted a throwback photo of her and her dad and another snap of the rainbow she saw outside of the Warner Bros. Studios after she said goodbye to her dad. Our hearts are with Ellen and her family.
