Twilight Dominates People's Choice Nominations Once Again

Nominations for the 2011 People's Choice Awards were announced in the US yesterday, and no surprise here — Eclipse racked up the most nominations! The film and its stars earned eight nods total, including Favourite Movie, Drama, Onscreen Team, Movie Actor, and Movie Actress. Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will also compete against each other in the category of Favourite Movie Star Under 25.

If the multiple Twilight mentions are any indication, the awards really seem to be catering to a younger crowd this year (Gossip Girl and The Vampire Diaries are both up for honours as Favourite TV Drama!). As for the film categories, Iron Man 2 is a hit, with Robert Downey Jr. receiving multiple mentions. In the ladies competition, Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie will be going head to head for Favourite Movie Actress.
