Your Favorite Silver Fox Is Back on the Red Carpet
George Clooney was the king of the red carpet on Friday night, donning a tux at the BAFTA LA Jaguar Britannia Awards during LA's AFI Fest. Though he was dressed up for the festive event, George took on a more casual look earlier in the day when he stepped out for the premiere of August: Osage County. In true charismatic form, the actor was all smiles as he made his way down the red carpet, stopping to sign autographs and pose with Grant Heslov, a fellow producer on the film. George is back on the press trail after spending the past couple of months promoting the space drama Gravity alongside Sandra Bullock, as well as wrapping up production on The Monuments Men with Matt Damon.
In addition to his busy work schedule — he's currently filming the sci-fi flick Tomorrowland in Vancouver, Canada — George was recently given a big honor by a good friend. He was the recipient of the USC Shoah Foundation Institute's ambassador for humanity award last month, which was presented to him by Steven Spielberg. George mixed seriousness with silliness at the event as he mingled with Sandra Bullock and Jon Stewart and photobombed Jerry Seinfeld and his wife, Jessica.
