Gospel Choir Sings "Stand By Me" at Royal Wedding Video

Everyone Is Talking About That Rendition of "Stand by Me" at the Royal Wedding

There were a lot of special moments throughout Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding ceremony, but the one that's proving most popular is the gorgeous rendition of the song "Stand by Me," performed by Karen Gibson and The Kingdom Choir. The cover of the 1961 classic by Ben E. King was the moment when everyone watching at home (and the guests in St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle) started to get choked up.

The Kingdom Choir are a Christian Gospel group based in South East London made up of 20 singers. They've been going strong for 20 years, and the song was a huge hit with Twitter:

"Stand By Me" has been covered by 400 singers since it was released, and it's one of the most widely recorded songs in music history. After this fantastic rendition, it's going to become an even more popular choice at weddings. Make sure you book The Kingdom Choir well in advance, they're going to be very, very busy.
