Hayden Panettiere Has Entered Treatment For Postpartum Depression
It's been close to a year since Hayden Panettiere welcomed a baby girl, Kaya, with fiancé Wladimir Klitschko, but we haven't seen much of the actress since her sweet mother-daughter snap back in January. On Tuesday, a rep for the Nashville star confirmed to People that she "is voluntarily seeking professional help at a treatment center as she is currently battling postpartum depression." Hayden has been open about her struggles in recent interviews, saying, "Women need to know that they're not alone, and that it does heal."
Last weekend, though, Hayden tweeted a photo of herself along with the caption, "Feeling like I'm #finally coming back in to my own body! #mother #daughter #blessing #wellworthit." On Monday, just one day before news of her treatment broke, she stepped out in NYC looking fresh and fit. Given her newfound comfort in her skin, we're hoping that Hayden gets the help she needs and that we'll see a lot more of the beautiful actress — and her family — in the months to come. Plus, we'll always get to watch her slay on Nashville.
