Tristan Thompson's whirlwind romance with Khloé Kardashian is pretty much public knowledge, thanks to his many highly-publicised cheating scandals, the last of which resulted in a pregnancy and the seemingly final dissolution of his off-and-on relationship with Kardashian. While the NBA star's relationship with his and Kardashian's daughter, True, is highly publicised due to Kardashian's reality star status, you may not be up to speed on Thompson's other children, Prince and Theo.

The 31-year-old athlete has opened up about his experience with fatherhood, having gushed about his kids on social media on numerous occasions. "We all have our motivations in life, and for me, it's my kids. They push me every day and keep me going. It gives me that extra motivation that I need," Thompson explained in a 2018 special with Salvador Amezcua.

We've broken down all there is to know about Thompson's adorable offspring ahead.

Prince Oliver Thompson

On 12 December, 2016, Thompson welcomed a son named Prince with his ex-girlfriend Jordan Craig. At the time of the birth, Thompson had already started dating Kardashian, giving way to fierce speculation that he had cheated on Craig with the reality star. While both Kardashian and Thompson denied the rumours, claiming they only began dating after Craig and Thompson had split, the model claimed in court filings that Thompson did cheat on her with Kardashian during her pregnancy.

Despite his strained relationship with Craig, Thompson began sharing rare glimpses into his involvement in Prince's life on social media, leading fans to believe the exes had worked their issues out for the sake of co-parenting their son.

On Prince's second birthday, Thompson shared a sweet birthday message on his Instagram, the caption reading: "Happy birthday to my son Prince, so blessed the man upstairs chose me to be your pops. You're my motivation everyday. Daddy loves you so much!!!."

The following year, Thompson celebrated Prince's third birthday alongside a touching Instagram post expressing his gratitude for being a father. "Happy birthday to my baby boy Prince. You're already 3, I remember holding you when you were born and telling you how amazing of a baby you are," he wrote. "Everyday you continue to surprise me with your development, your love, and your big heart. Your smile is one that lights up every room you are in. I thank God everyday for picking me to be your father. May God continue to bless you each and everyday son. I love you."

According to Thompson, Prince has a special bond with his younger half-sibling, True. "I'm soo lucky to have you as a son papa. Your heart and soul is pure gold. Your sister is soo lucky to have a big brother like you to watch and protect her. Daddy Loves you baby boy," he shared on Instagram on Prince's fourth birthday.

Meanwhile, in In Craig's Instagram post for Prince's fourth birthday, she called Prince "the Smartest, Kindest, most Polite & most Loving little protector a Mum could EVER ask for," adding that he's her "dream come true." In another post, the model shared how having Prince changed her life for the better. "You made me the GREATEST version of myself the day I became your Mommy & for that I am forever Grateful," she wrote.

True Thompson

Thompson and Kardashian announced they were expecting in December 2017 alongside a beautiful shot of Thompson cradling Kardashian's baby bump. "My greatest dream realised! We are having a baby! I had been waiting and wondering, but God had a plan all along," Kardashian wrote about the exciting news on Instagram. Thompson and Kardashian's daughter, True Thompson, was born on 12 April, 2018.

Following the sweet addition of baby True to the extended Kardashian-Jenner clan, her grandmother, Kris Jenner, shared the special meaning behind her granddaughter's unique name. "I'm so excited to welcome my precious little granddaughter True!!! FUN FACT... my Grandfather's name on my Dad's side was True Otis Houghton....my real Dad's name was Robert True Houghton...so I am so excited Khloe named her daughter True!!!" the momager revealed in a tweet.

Unfortunately, just days prior to the birth of True, reports of Thompson's infidelity broke out, causing a hitch during what was meant to be one of their happiest moments as parents. Though they rekindled their romance a few times, they split up for good in June 2021, and now the pair successfully continue to co-parent their baby girl. The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star has never kept Thompson on the sidelines as a father to their girl. In fact, in an April 2022 chat with Robin Roberts for GMA, Kardashian praised Thompson for his parenting skills, calling him "a great dad."

Celebrating his daughter turning one, Thompson shared an adorable picture with True with the caption, "True-ly Perfect. My baby girl is one today. Man time goes by soo fast but I'm loving every minute of it. Can't wait for us to sit home all day and watch lion king and paw patrol lol. ❤️❤️❤️ #MyTwin."

True appears to have a close bond with her older brother, Prince. On 23 June, 2018, Thompson shared a cute picture on Instagram with the two siblings holding hands while sitting on his lap. In another photo, Prince was holding his baby sister and kissing her cheek. In an October 2021 post, Thompson shared a snap of the siblings standing side-by-side in an arcade. "Let me love you a little more, before you are not so little anymore #MyEverything," he captioned the image.

Kardashian penned a heartfelt post for True's fourth birthday in April 2022. "Happy 4th Birthday my baby!!! I wish I could bottle you up and keep you little forever. At the same time watching you grow into the little lady you are has been the biggest honour of my life. Thank you for choosing me sweet True," she wrote. "My biggest blessing. My sweetest reward. The one who changed my life forever. I love you my special soulmate."

Theo Thompson

On 1 Dec., 2021, Theo Thompson, a son, whom Thompson shares with former personal trainer and fitness model Maralee Nichols, was born.

When Nichols shared the news, it sent shockwaves through the Kardashian family and fandom because Thompson and Kardashian had reconciled and were dating at the time. While Thompson initially denied he fathered the child, a paternity test later confirmed he's the biological father of the newborn.

"Today, paternity test results reveal that I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols. I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established I look forward to amicably raising our son," he shared on his Instagram story in January 2022. "Khloé, you don't deserve this. You don't deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you," he wrote, apologising to Kardashian for repeatedly hurting her.

The 31-year-old model shared the sentimental meaning behind Theo's name with People in February 2022. "Theo, my little angel baby. I named you Theo because it means, 'Gift from God,'" Nichols told the outlet. "I had never been pregnant and had been told I might not be able to have children. I couldn't believe I was pregnant, when I saw you on the ultrasound and heard your little heartbeat I knew I would always protect you and keep you safe. I love you more than you'll ever know. You bring such joy and happiness into my life. My greatest blessing."

Nichols has shared rare insights into Theo's toddler days without revealing Theo's face on social media. On 2022 Mother's Day, Nichols shared a pic holding Theo, alongside a caption: "Words cannot express how much I love you, being your mommy is my greatest blessing. You are my world 🤍 Happy Mother's Day to all of the amazing mothers out there!" To mark six months since Theo's birth, the model took a stroll down a zoo with her baby, sharing the visit on Instagram with a caption that reads, "Theo's first time at the zoo, he loved looking at all the animals 🦒."

In a February 2022 statement via Us Weekly a rep for Nichols claimed Thompson has "done nothing to support their son." They continued, "He has not made any attempt to meet their son, nor has he provided any financial assistance." The present-day dynamic of Thompson with Theo and Nichols remains unclear.
